Toni & Guy (TG) Photographic Shoot
The Toni & Guy (TG) Photographic Shoot was based on the
political/artistic movements in the United States. The creative decision to
showcase models in this frame was made by TG educators and
hairstylists: Erin Patterson, Courtney Greenday, and Nikki Bohnett. These
women proposed a fashion show that depicted Prohibition, Andy Warhol,
and the Modern Day Hipster eras.
The Workflow
ADC served as the technical support team in this project. We provided
photographers, cinematographers, lighting, and additional crew in order to
successfully capture this moment. The motive was to highlight the
hairstyles while keeping the editorial collection in mind.
The post production portion of the workflow was the most powerful part of
this project. Photo retouchers from Mystique Pacific (a sub-unit of ADC)
ensured that the hairstyles were lit and set apart from the rest of the
frame. Curves and contours were taken into heavy consideration. Overall,
it took nearly three months to complete the desired look.
As for the fashion show, ADC shined in our natural production centered
environment. Our full fledge team was driven to execute a professional
experience from beginning to end.
